As people navigate increasingly busy lives, stress, uncertainty and emotional pressures can make it difficult to maintain peace and happiness. To offer practical guidance on dealing with these challenges, Tej Gyan Foundation will organise a free live session with its founder, spiritual teacher and author Sirshree on Sunday, August 16, 2026.

The session, titled “Aao Sakshi Rehna Seekhen – How to Stay Joyful,” will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at MaNaN Ashram, Survey No. 43, Sanas Nagar, Nandoshi Gaon, Off Kirkatwadi Phata, Sinhagad Road, Pune. The programme will also be available online through YouTube, Zoom, Facebook and Instagram.

During the session, Sirshree will discuss practical ways to remain joyful and mentally balanced while dealing with everyday situations. The session will introduce participants to the concept of Sakshi Bhav, or developing an observer-like attitude towards thoughts, emotions and life circumstances without becoming overwhelmed by them.

The programme will also focus on managing mental stress, developing emotional balance, finding inner peace and responding to difficult situations with greater awareness. It will address how individuals can remain calm and joyful even when circumstances do not match their expectations.

Tej Gyan Foundation Marks 25 Years of the Magic of Awakening Retreat

The upcoming programme comes at an important milestone for Tej Gyan Foundation as its flagship Magic of Awakening Retreat completes 25 years.

According to the Foundation, more than 1.25 lakh seekers have participated in the retreat over the past 25 years. Participants have come from varied backgrounds, including entrepreneurship, corporate organisations, education, healthcare, student communities, homemakers and retired professionals.

The Foundation says its programmes aim to make practices related to self-awareness, meditation, understanding and personal transformation accessible to people from different backgrounds.

Focus on Self-Awareness and Inner Growth

Tej Gyan Foundation was established with the aim of helping individuals develop greater clarity, happiness and understanding. Its programmes cover areas such as self-awareness, emotional well-being, meditation, mindfulness, spiritual development and personal growth.

The Magic of Awakening Retreat encourages participants to examine their thoughts, emotions, habits and behavioural patterns through observation, contemplation, meditation and personal experience.

The Foundation’s approach is based on the principle “Right understanding brings transformation.” Instead of focusing only on changing external situations, participants are encouraged to examine how their perceptions and responses influence their experience of life.

The programmes do not require participants to follow a particular religious belief or ideology. The Foundation says people from different faiths, professions, cultures and educational backgrounds have participated in its programmes.

Sirshree’s Teachings

The Foundation’s teachings are based on the work of Sirshree, who is described by the organisation as a spiritual teacher, author and founder.

Over the past 25 years, Sirshree has delivered more than 4,000 discourses and authored more than 300 books in multiple languages. His teachings cover subjects including self-awareness, meditation, relationships, emotional intelligence, personal development, spiritual awakening and inner growth.

The Foundation has developed these teachings into a structured learning system designed to take individuals from personal development towards deeper self-awareness and self-realisation.

Learning the Art of Staying Joyful

The central question of the upcoming session is simple: How can a person remain peaceful and joyful when circumstances are difficult or do not go as expected?

Sirshree will explain the concept of Sakshi Bhav and how observing thoughts, emotions and situations can help individuals respond rather than react.

The session is expected to cover ways to manage mental stress, develop emotional stability, maintain inner peace and approach everyday challenges with greater awareness.

According to Tej Gyan Foundation, participants in its programmes have reported changes such as greater clarity, emotional balance, confidence and a different way of looking at personal and professional situations. The Foundation says many participants initially attend its programmes while dealing with personal, emotional, professional or relationship-related challenges.
