Shares of Blue Cloud Softech Solutions surged more than 13% in Monday’s trading session after the company announced that its US subsidiary had secured a $150 million Statement of Work (SOW) from SpaceX International Ltd, MY.
The stock jumped 13.34% to ₹25.41 during the session, from its previous close of ₹22.42, as investors reacted positively to the sizeable international technology contract.
$150 Million SpaceX Contract
Blue Cloud Softech said its wholly owned US subsidiary, Blue Cloud Softech Solutions Ltd-USA, has executed SOW No. 1 with SpaceX International Ltd. The agreement follows a five-year Master Services Agreement (MSA) signed between the two companies on July 9, 2026.
The SOW carries a minimum contractual commitment of $150 million over an 18-month period and covers a range of technology services, including AI infrastructure, cybersecurity, telecommunications and data-centre solutions.
Under the engagement, Blue Cloud Softech’s US subsidiary will work on a dedicated, sovereign-grade AI computing and data-centre platform for SpaceX International. The contract marks a significant expansion of the company’s presence in the global AI and digital infrastructure ecosystem.
Stock Reacts Positively
The announcement triggered strong buying interest in Blue Cloud Softech shares. The stock had opened at around ₹20.11, compared with the previous close of ₹19.74, before touching an intraday high of ₹22.80 on August 10.
The latest rally follows an earlier sharp move in the stock after Blue Cloud Softech disclosed its initial discussions with SpaceX. In June, the company had said it was exploring potential business opportunities with SpaceX International in AI and digital technology. At that stage, the discussions were preliminary and non-binding.
The subsequent signing of the MSA and now the $150 million SOW represent a significant progression from those initial discussions.
AI and Digital Infrastructure Strategy
The SpaceX contract strengthens Blue Cloud Softech’s positioning in the rapidly expanding AI infrastructure and digital transformation market.
The company has been expanding its operations across AI, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity and other technology-led solutions. Its latest SpaceX engagement provides the company with an opportunity to execute a large international project and potentially deepen its relationship with one of the world’s most prominent technology companies.
Blue Cloud Softech had reported consolidated revenue of ₹1,002 crore for FY26, representing 26% year-on-year growth. EBITDA stood at ₹126.13 crore, up 78%, while profit after tax increased 37% year-on-year to ₹60.50 crore.
What Investors Should Watch
While the $150 million contract is a major business development, investors will closely track the actual execution and revenue recognition from the agreement over the 18-month period.
The scale of the contract, its international nature and its focus on AI infrastructure could potentially provide a significant boost to Blue Cloud Softech’s order book and future financial performance. However, the company’s ability to translate the contract into sustainable revenue and profitability will remain key factors for the stock going forward.
The development also comes ahead of the company’s upcoming Q1 FY27 results, with the board scheduled to consider and approve the quarterly results on August 14, according to reports.
