Sanjeev Ohlan Sports and Education Foundation: A Path Maker

When your contribution has been vital there will always be somebody to pick up where you left off, and that will be your claim to immortality. Sanjeev Ohlan Sports and Education foundation is laid in fond memory of former Ranji player and 1st class cricketer from Rajasthan, Late Sh. Sanjeev Ohlan, who passed away in a fatal tragedy at the young age of 46 on 20th Jan 2019. Sanjeev was also among the pioneer event managers from Rajasthan.

He was captain of Rajasthan University and led the Rajasthan University team to west zone. While in Maharaja College, Jaipur, he secured 124 runs and 8 wickets in the same match. He remained the undisputed hero of Sharma Mathur State level Championship where he set up a new record by taking 9 wickets in 7.4 overs, conceding 14 runs. He played an innings of 84 runs in  semi final match of the same tournament. SOSEF trains aspiring athletes and sports persons free of cost in Jaipur. The foundation is conducting an online open National  Athletic Championship on his death anniversary to pay a tribute. It is a matter of great pride that a young athlete Nirmal Paraswal, who was trained at SOSEF, won a gold medal for his fabulous performance at Rajasthan University Athletic Championship in Pole Vault.
