Ram Temple replica at Pacific Mall, Tagore Garden

At the onset of Diwali, shopping centres come to life with installations on the theme of light, colours and diyas, signifying festivities, happiness, joy and togetherness. Pacific Mall, Tagore Garden, came up with a unique idea and has installed a replica model of Ram Temple to commemorate the valor and celebrate the spirit of victory of truth over evil. The largest model ever made, the installation is an unprecedented 32ft in height and 48ft in width and will leave the visitors with a sense of awe. “Being the embodiment of Chivalry, Truth and Virtue, Lord Rama can be described as a man who displays perfect moral as well as social behaviour. He is a symbol of the victory of good over evil. He characterizes how a man should fulfill his moral commitments so that social order can be maintained and hence is worshipped widely in Indian culture,” said Mr Abhishek Bansal, Executive Director, Pacific Group. Pacific Malls are known to come up with eye-catchy ideas for installations. Last year on the occasion of 74th Independence Day, Pacific Mall, Tagore Garden, put up a décor called ‘Wings of Valor’ that featured Rafale installation of a 16ft fighter aircraft suspended from the ceiling. The exhibit gave the feel of fighter aircraft taking off from a runway with tri-color being the backdrop of the runway.
