Tesla has entered India. The company has opened its first store in Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai. With this, the company has also launched the Tesla Model Y, whose initial ex-showroom cost is 59.89 lakhs. After opening its store in Mumbai, the company will also open its store in Delhi-NCR. Tesla charging stations will be launched at four locations in Delhi-NCR. Two of the four locations will be in Delhi, i.e., Saket and Aerocity. Meanwhile, one charging station will be launched at Golf Course Road in Gurugram. Besides this, a Tesla supercharger will be installed in Noida.
Tesla Model Y has been launched in the Indian market. It has been brought in two variants, which are Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) and Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD). The ex-showroom price of its rear-wheel drive variant is Rs 59.89 lakh, and the ex-showroom price of the long-range rear-wheel drive variant is Rs 67.89 lakh.
Tesla Model Y comes with a single configuration option. The range of the Model Y RWD variant will be up to 500km, while the range of the Model Y long-range rear-wheel drive will be up to 622km. The top speed of both is 201 kmph. Its RWD variant accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in 5.9 seconds, while the long-range rear-wheel drive variant can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 5.9 seconds.
