There's growing interest in competition among flagship devices in the smartphone sector. Currently, a lot of leaks are emerging regarding the upcoming X500 line by Vivo. The latest rumors state that the Chinese manufacturer is considering launching its new flagship device – the Vivo X500 Pro Max. In particular, attention will be drawn to the phone's battery capacity and the camera.

As indicated in some recent reports, the Vivo X500 Pro Max will be equipped with an impressive 8000 mAh battery, making the smartphone much better than all current flagships.

With such battery power, users will no longer need to constantly hunt for power banks. Extended backup capabilities will come in handy for gaming, watching videos online, and in everyday usage.

It is expected that the phone will have a big 6.85-inch flat OLED panel with 2K resolution and a high refresh rate of 144 Hz. It is created by the Chinese corporation BOE. New LIPO technology could result in extremely thin bezels around the screen, giving the phone a more premium look.

The camera could be the phone's biggest USP. The Vivo X500 Pro Max is said to feature a 50MP main camera, using the Sony LYT-838 sensor. A 200MP periscope telephoto camera could also be included, helping capture more detailed images from a distance. A 50MP ultra-wide camera is also expected.

In terms of performance, the device is likely to come with the upcoming Dimensity 9600 series chipset from Mediatek. It will operate on 2nm technology. This may improve the user experience during gaming, multitasking, and other AI-based services. Additionally, the bigger battery would improve energy efficiency.

There is no official news from Vivo regarding the smartphone yet. But some leaked news has pointed out that the Vivo X500 series may launch in the October to December period of 2026, i.e., in the fourth quarter of 2026. It is likely to launch first in the Chinese market.
