In preparation for its launch, the company has started to leak details regarding its new range of products that include the Vivo X500, Vivo X500 Pro, and Vivo X500 Pro Max. An executive at the firm mentioned that there will be improvements on the camera aspect of the Vivo X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max models.

As reported by a post made by Vivo product manager Han Boxiao on Weibo, the Vivo X500 Pro Max will have a 200-megapixel Zeiss APO super telephoto camera. The camera will be equipped with a combination of 1/1.4 inch Blueprint and Samsung HP0 sensor. Apart from that, the phone will be equipped with a hardware-based 4x ISZ (In-Sensor Zoom).

According to the smartphone maker, this high-resolution sensor will come with two stages of lossless zoom along with high levels of detail. The upcoming device will also be accompanied by a 400mm telephoto extender that will prove helpful in capturing distant objects. As far as stabilization is concerned, the new Vivo model will provide CIPA 7.0-rated professional stabilization.

On the other hand, the Vivo X500 Pro will take a different approach. It is confirmed to be equipped with a new 64-megapixel Zeiss APO super telephoto camera with an 85mm focal length. This camera uses Vivo's Blueprint sensor design with a Sony LYTIA 610 sensor. Vivo says it features a unique GG 1x1 and RB 2x2 pixel structure, which combines the resolving power of a 1x1 pixel configuration with the focusing benefits of a 2x2 configuration.

The company says this new telephoto lens design is based on the apochromatic (APO) lens design, which was first introduced with the Vivo X100 Pro. According to the company, the 85mm focal length, along with the full 64-megapixel resolution, will provide more room for cropping photos without losing details.

Like the Pro Max variant, the Vivo X500 Pro will also support CIPA 7.0 stabilization, improved autofocus, and subject tracking. On the video front, the camera will support 4K recording at 120fps for slow-motion footage, as well as 4K 60fps HDR video.

Vivo has not yet revealed the full specifications of the X500 series. The lineup is expected to include the Vivo X500, X500 Pro, and X500 Pro Max, with the launch scheduled for next month in China. More details are likely to emerge before the launch.
