Tata Power's consolidated net profit increased by six percent to Rs 1,262 crore in the June quarter. The company had reported a net profit of Rs 1,189 crore last year. The company's revenue increased to Rs 17,464 crore during the quarter. It was Rs 16,810 crore a year ago.
The company achieved this profit mainly due to the increase in revenue from renewable energy, as well as its transmission and distribution business. Tata Power CEO and Managing Director Praveer Sinha stated that we have started FY26 on a strong note, with a robust performance across all our business segments. Our renewable energy portfolio is performing better than expectations as we drive innovation, scale, and efficiency across the clean energy value chain.
