Meta-owned instant multimedia messaging app WhatsApp is working on a feature after which there will be no need for any third-party app to transfer files between two phones. You can share the largest files directly through your WhatsApp.

WABetaInfo, which keeps a tab on the upcoming features of WhatsApp has informed regarding this new feature. It would work exactly like Apple's AirDrop and Google's Nearby Share works. After this feature is introduced, videos, photos, and other files can be shared from one device to another.

It is said that it will first come for Android users, and after that, it will be launched for iOS. A scanner will be available which shares the file after scanning and both the phones get paired with each other. The best part is, it doesn't require any internet connection.
