Actress and BJP Member of Parliament Kangana Ranaut on Wednesday hit back at 'end patriarchy' remark by Congress MP Rahul Gandhi.

Kangana Ranaut also replied to Rahul Gandhi on his reaction to the current issue of actor Kriti Sanon's dressing in an advertisement for Raksha Bandhan.

In retaliation to the statement made by Rahul Gandhi, Kangana shared an Instagram post from the official handle of BJP on her Instagram story. In the post, Rahul Gandhi can be seen telling a woman to 'end patriarchy.'

The lady responds, "Brother, please wait. First let us say 'Jai Bharat Mata'." Moving further in the post, Rahul Gandhi keeps on demanding women to end patriarchy, whereas she brings up many issues like the Women Reservation Bill, triple talaq, Shah Bano case, and lack of a woman minister in Congress-ruled Karnataka.

Earlier, Rahul Gandhi had supported Kriti Sanon, writing that what a woman wears, does, and goes is her choice. Stop trolling women for exercising their freedom.

It should be noted that the controversy surrounding Rahul Gandhi's statement to end patriarchy began after his address at the 'Chhatraon Ki Goonj' event held in Pune on August 22.

Addressing the event, Gandhi described women as India's greatest strength and spoke about their role in society.
