Honor is also launching a new smartphone in China today, which has been named the Honor Power 2. The specifications of the device have been revealed by the company. It has already been stated that the device will come with the MediaTek Dimensity processor and a 10,080mAh battery. The device will be the successor to the Honor Power, which was released in April 2025.
The company has unveiled the performance of its upcoming Honor Power 2 through a Weibo posting. This upcoming phone scored well over 2.4 million points in the AnTuTu benchmark test. This is actually stated to be the highest benchmark score for a phone with a similar price tag. The Honor Power 2 will be the first smartphone to feature MediaTek's new Dimensity 8500 Elite chipset.
The Honor Power 2 has been listed on the company's official website. The listing shows the device in Phantom Night Black, Sunburst Orange, and Snow White color options. It has already been confirmed that the phone will feature a 10,080mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging and 27W reverse charging support.
The Honor Power 2 will launch today, January 5th, at 5 PM IST. The device will feature a 6.79-inch LTPS flat display with a 1.5K (1,200x2,640 pixels) resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, the phone is expected to achieve peak brightness of up to 8,000 nits. The device is expected to feature a 50-megapixel rear camera setup. A 16-megapixel front-facing camera is also expected.
