India's first Bhojpuri celebrity reality show, 'Bhojpuri Bawaal', featuring a host of prominent names from the Bhojpuri entertainment industry, is currently airing. The show sees superstar Amrapali Dubey and her sister Aanchal Dubey among its participants, offering a glimpse into their lives.

A Sister's Support: The Reason Behind Her Participation

When asked about her decision to join the show, Aanchal explained, "I didn't really have a choice about being part of 'Bhojpuri Bawaal' because I'm Amrapali Dubey's sister, and this show is based on her life. I am a part of her life, and I've been involved in many of her decisions and her journey. That's why I didn't hesitate at all. This is a way for me to do something for Amrapali, as she has helped me with many things in my life. I thought if I could contribute by my presence on the show, I would love to."

Stepping Into The Limelight: No Special Preparation

Talking about her preparations for the show, Aanchal candidly shared, "To be honest, I'm not really preparing for the show. Everything is new to me. This isn't just my first show, but it's also my first time appearing on any OTT platform or TV channel. I don't know what I should do or how I should prepare."

Navigating Familiar Faces and New Encounters

The reality show brings together several big names from the Bhojpuri industry. Aanchal noted, "Many people from the industry are in it, and I know most of them personally. I know Dinesh Lal Yadav ji and Pawan Singh. Tej Pratap Yadav is new to me; I don't know him personally. I have no problem appearing with them because, besides Dinesh ji, I haven't met any other contestant face-to-face. Dinesh and I share a very good relationship. We've been friends since Amrapali's first film, and that friendship has grown stronger. It's become so deep that his family, his children, his brother's children, everyone is now an important part of my life. We talk a lot and meet often." She added, "I'm just happy to have gotten the opportunity to be a part of it."

Embracing Authenticity: "I Am Who I Am"

Aanchal also offered her perspective on the reality show genre. "As I said, this is my first show, so everything is new to me, including its pros and cons. I haven't thought too much about my opinion on the subject, but I'm ready to face whatever comes my way. I believe that whatever has been shot so far is all positive, and Amrapali and I are appearing just as we are in real life. I'm just staying true to myself, no matter what people say."

She continued, "I haven't really thought about the pros and cons. I'm not from an acting background; I don't consider myself an actor, so whatever the outcome of the show, I'm fine with it. My message to my audience is that I am the same on the show as I am off camera. I will always be that way, no matter what profession I choose or what work I do, because that's who I am, and it will never change."

Aanchal hopes for audience support. "If people don't like something about me, I will always appreciate constructive feedback because that's how we learn and get better. I just hope they continue to support me and keep me in their prayers, just as I always wish well for my audience. I truly love my work, and I will continue to do it honestly. I also hope that Amrapali's fans will embrace me and enjoy the show. Ultimately, I can only do my best."
