The company has unveiled the new GS variant, which is the lowest variant of the series. It takes the place of the previous G 310 GS and is available in three variants - Base, Exclusive, and GS Trophy. The successive variants have additional features. They all come equipped with the same 420cc parallel twin, water-cooled engine, producing 48 horsepower and 43 Nm of torque.
It has been priced starting from ₹4.70 lakhs (ex-showroom). The Base variant has all the essential features mentioned for the motorcycle. It features a 6.5-inch TFT display, USB-C charging, adjustable hand levers, heated grips, and full LED lighting. Its DRLs are reminiscent of the larger R 1300 GS. It features upside-down forks with 180mm travel, adjustable rear springs, and 19/17-inch wheels.
Electronics include features like ABS Pro, traction control, Dynamic Brake Control, and Engine Drag Torque Control. It also features adjustable front levers and a height-adjustable rear brake lever. In this form, the F 450 GS is positioned as a straightforward road-focused ADV with touring capabilities.
It is priced at ₹4.90 lakh (ex-showroom), which is ₹20,000 more than the base variant. This variant is available only in the Black Cosmic color. It offers some additional features and functional updates to assist riders. The Exclusive variant adds riding modes and a bi-directional quickshifter. Other changes include a windshield, black hand guards, a plastic engine guard, and an off-road simulator.
Priced at ₹5.30 lakh (ex-showroom), this is the top-of-the-range model, designed with off-road use in mind. It features a sport suspension setup, an aluminum engine guard, and an Easy Ride clutch as standard. This clutch makes the bike easier to ride. It also features a rally-style tinted windshield, white hand guards, and a white main frame with GS Trophy graphics.
Priced at ₹5.30 lakh (ex-showroom), this variant is ₹40,000 more expensive than the Exclusive model and ₹60,000 more expensive than the base model.
