According to media reports, Mahindra is preparing to launch a hybrid version of its mid-size SUV, the Mahindra XUV 7XO, in India. However, no information has been provided by the manufacturer on this matter yet.

According to reports, the manufacturer is testing this SUV before its launch, and it was recently spotted during this period. Following this, hopes have risen that it will be launched soon.

The prototype is entirely masked, and the existing model will remain the same; however, there are reports of changes in the color and badges. The prototype of this vehicle may operate on E85 fuel.

There have been rumors that the hybrid engine can be two liters, meaning it will deliver better performance than the current turbo-petrol engine. The two-liter petrol engine gives a power output of 203 PS and a torque of 380 Nm and is accompanied by a six-speed gearbox.

The manufacturer has not yet provided any details regarding the SUV's launch. However, it is expected that it will be officially introduced in India by next year, either in hybrid or E85 configurations.
