Teaser released by South Korean automaker Kia for their upcoming electric car model. Kia had also released a teaser some days back and gave a teaser look at their future BEV and HEV. The upcoming BEV can be called the Kia Syros EV whereas the HEV might be the Kia Sorento Hybrid 7 seater SUV.

Kia has released yet another teaser of their upcoming BEV. In the video, we see the flag icon on the left side and battery icon on the right side. Below these icons is the loading bar along with the words 'You're closer than you think'.

The next set of graphics shows us a family icon on the left side and car icon on the right side. What seems like a normal teaser turns out to be the Kia Syros when looked at more closely. This means that Kia Syros EV may soon arrive in India.

The Syros EV is expected to have a similar design to its ICE model. However, it could feature a closed grille and redesigned front and rear bumpers to differentiate it from the petrol-diesel models. During testing, the car's LED taillights and alloy wheels were partially visible, which resemble those on the Syros. The radar unit, parking sensors, and outside rear-view OVRMs were also partially covered.

The Syros EV is expected to feature similar features to its petrol-diesel models. The car is expected to feature a dual-screen setup with two 12.3-inch screens, one for the infotainment system and the other for the instrument cluster. The company may introduce a new dual-tone theme inside the cabin of this electric car.

The car's second-row may also feature electrically powered seats with ventilation and reclining functions. Additionally, the car may also feature features like a panoramic sunroof, Level 2 ADAS suite, and a 360-degree camera.

The Kia Syros EV is expected to feature a front-wheel drive powertrain. It may be offered with two battery variants – a 42kWh battery pack and a 49kWh battery pack. On a single full charge, the car can deliver a driving range of up to 355 km. Additionally, the vehicle may also feature DC-Fast Charging.
