Vida Hero has introduced the VX2 Plus scooter, which has a larger 4.4 kWh battery. Its mileage is much better than that of its predecessor 3.4 kWh, and both have the same motor and performance. The cost of the vehicle is ₹1,43,990 (ex-showroom), and the maximum range of 187 km (IDC) is possible.
The VX2 Plus Plus has two removable batteries, each 2.2 kWh, thus having a total 4.4 kWh. According to Vida, it has a high range of IDC of 187 km, which is way higher compared to 146 km range of 3.4 kWh VX2 Plus.
The scooter has a 1 kW portable charger, which is twice the power of the charger of the VX2 Plus. This gives it 0 to 80% charge time of 3 hours 17 minutes, and 0 to 100% charge time of 5 hours 8 minutes. This time is significantly reduced if you use DC charging.
DC fast charging can be used to charge from 0 to 80% in just 65 minutes, and from 0 to 100% in 2 hours and 30 minutes. Vida says it now has a network of over 6,000 fast charging stations across the country.
The rest of the scooter is largely similar to the existing VX2 Plus 3.4kWh. It's powered by the same 6kW motor that generates 26Nm of torque. The company claims a top speed of 90kmph. This scooter offers three riding modes: Eco, Ride, and Sport. It also features a Boost function that provides a brief burst of extra performance for overtaking.
Other features include a 4.3-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation.
