Konarc Electric scooter has been launched in India by Ather Energy today. It has a starting price of ₹99,999 and is available in various battery ranges and options. This scooter is the first production scooter built using the company’s new EL platform.

Konarc will be available in S and Z versions, out of which the former is the economical version. The company has said that the Konarc S will be available in four IDC ranges between 100 km and 200 km. The Konarc Z, on the other hand, will be available in 125 km and 161 km range options.

For now, Ather Energy has announced prices for three Konarc S versions. The 100-kilometer variant is priced at ₹99,999, and deliveries are expected to start in Q1 2027. On the other hand, the 125-kilometer Konarc S will be priced at ₹1,21,999 and the 161-kilometer variant will cost ₹1,44,999 (ex-showroom). Deliveries for both variants are expected to commence in September 2026.

Ather has revealed the specification details for the three newly launched Konarc S variants that include 100 kilometers, 125 kilometers, and 161 kilometers. They will have battery capacities of 2.1kWh, 2.7kWh, and 3.5 kWh, respectively. All three variants will have an aluminum battery casing with IP67 water and dust resistance ratings.

All three versions have a top speed of 70 mph. The entry-level 2.1kWh model delivers 4kW of peak power, while the larger 2.7kWh and 3.5kWh versions deliver 4.7kW of power and a maximum torque of 16Nm. Acceleration from 0 to 40kmph takes 5 seconds on the 100kW model and 4.7 seconds on the other two. It offers three riding modes: Smarteco, Eco, and Power.

The EL platform's biggest highlight is its integrated charging system. All three versions come standard with a 450W onboard charger. This allows the scooter to be connected to a home power source without carrying a traditional external charger. Charging from 0 to 80% takes approximately four hours for the 2.1kWh battery, 4 hours 30 minutes for the 2.7kWh, and 5 hours 40 minutes for the 3.5kWh version.

It features 14-inch front and 12-inch rear wheels with 90/90-14 and 100/90-12 tire sizes. The 100-kilometer version features disc brakes on both sides, while the 125-kilometer and 161-kilometer versions feature 220mm front disc brakes. Features include 31 liters of underseat storage, USB charging, and reverse park assist.
