Aprilia India has been continuously trying to increase its portfolio, which consists of some really good products. One such product series is the SXR maxi-scooter series, which now has a new name and hp-e engine series. This maxi-scooter series is now available with the name of Aprilia SXR GT and has been completely reworked.

There are two variants of this maxi-scooter series that are available with 125 hp-e and 175 hp-e engines. Bookings for the reworked Aprilia SXR GT 175 and SXR GT 175 have started and its launch will not be much longer from now.

As Aprilia had done an update to the SR sporty scooter series with the new hp-3 engine, Aprilia has now focused its efforts on the max-scooter series. This maxi-scooter series has been now named the SXR GT with a refreshed design having some bold graphics and impressive livery for both the SXR GT 175 and SXR GT 125. There has been no change in the overall shape of the Aprilia SXR GT from its earlier version. However, the presence of Aprilia SXR GT on the road is much better as it comes with 14-inch wheels.

The most expensive Aprilia SXR GT 175 hp-e will feature a 5-inch TFT instrument cluster. This cluster will support turn-by-turn navigation and several connected features, including a smartphone app. The SXR GT 125, on the other hand, comes with a 5-inch LCD cluster. The Aprilia SXR GT 175 is powered by a 174.7cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine with a 3V head that produces 13.08bhp and 14.14Nm of torque.

The SXR GT 125 is powered by a 124.5cc, air-cooled engine with a 3V head that produces 10.46bhp and 10.4Nm of torque. Both come with RSU front forks, a 140mm rear drum, and a 220mm front disc brake, but only the SXR GT 175 comes with single-channel ABS.

This scooter is yet to be launched. The SXR GT 175 will come in three colours - Metallic Blue, Matte Black and Matter Green, while the SXR GT 125 will come in Matte Black, Glossy Azzurro and Glossy White colour options.
