The US District Court has granted permanent dismissal of the criminal cases against Adani Group that were initiated by the Justice Department. In spite of all the above-mentioned legal risks, the group has made investments in excess of ₹2.08 lakh crore in H2 FY 2025-2026. It is one of the biggest private infrastructure investment initiatives in India.

The group has invested in sectors such as renewable energy, power transmission, ports, airports, roads, logistics, and digital infrastructure. In FY2023-2026, there was an increase in the value of total assets of the Adani Group from ₹4.12 lakh crore to ₹7.85 lakh crore which is more than 90% increase. The annual capital investment in the same period increased from ₹95,554 crore to ₹1,52,967 crore.

With annual capital expenditure ₹1,52,967 crore, Adani Group has made the biggest capital investment among any Indian corporation in FY2026. It is bigger than the capital investment of Reliance Industries, which amounted to ₹1,44,271 crore. JSW Steel's capital investment amounted to ₹15,595 crore.

Last December, Navi Mumbai International Airport commenced operations. In February, the new Terminal 2 of Guwahati's Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport commenced operations. Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone became India's first port operator to handle more than 500 million metric tons of cargo last fiscal year. Adani Green Energy Limited surpassed 20 gigawatts of renewable energy capacity. The 594-kilometer Ganga Expressway was inaugurated in June 2026.

The group's market capitalization fell by approximately ₹2.85 lakh crore in the first four trading sessions after the US indictment became public in November 2024. However, projects continued uninterrupted, and financial performance remained strong. By August 2026, the group's market capitalization had risen to approximately ₹18.5 lakh crore, an increase of approximately ₹7.6 lakh crore from its March 2025 low. It was also approximately ₹4 lakh crore above its pre-indictment level.
