Bayern Munich continued their excellent beginning of the Bundesliga season as they saw off Bayer Leverkusen 3-0, with that victory also ending the visitors' 37 unbeaten streak. Bayern coach Vincent Kompany made seven changes to the team ahead of the crucial UEFA Champions League match against Paris Saint-Germain.

Captain Manuel Neuer took back his position in goal. Young talents Tom Bischoff and Lennart Karl received places in the starting eleven, while star trio Harry Kane, Michael Oliseh, and Luis Diaz started on the bench. Bayern controlled the match from the beginning. In the 25th minute, there was a goal: the brilliant through ball by Bischoff to Serge Gnabry, who beat the goalkeeper Mark Flicken.

Just six minutes later (31st minute), Nicholas Jackson made it 2-0 with a superb header from Konrad Laimer's cross. Just before halftime (45th minute), Leverkusen's Loic Badt accidentally deflected Raphael Guerrero's low pass into his own net, putting Bayern squarely in the game's grasp at the break.

Jackson missed a close-range header early in the second half. Kompany saved his strength for the European competition, fielding Kane, Olise, and Diaz. Leverkusen had no chance of a comeback.

With this win, Bayern maintained a 15-match winning streak in all competitions and consolidated their top position in the Bundesliga standings. Leverkusen suffered their first league defeat since the opening rounds of the season, and their first away defeat in nearly two years.

Leverkusen coach Kasper Hülmund said, "We have to acknowledge Bayern's quality. They took full advantage of our mistakes and truly deserved the win. We are not satisfied with our performance, but now we have to look forward."
